Marilyn Gugliucci speaks with Curaspan Connections about The Learning by Living Project

Every summer, a handful of medical students spends two weeks in a nursing home as a patient. That鈥檚 part of what鈥檚 been called 鈥渢he life-altering education鈥 established by Marilyn Gugliucci, Ph.D., the director of geriatrics education and research at the 海角社区 College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Marilyn R. Gugliucci spoke with Curaspan Connections, the Curapan Health Group Newsletter, about the inspiration for her unique approach to elder-care education, The Learning by Living Project, and what the outcomes have meant to her students and participating post-acute facilities.
