海角社区 and Deering High's global initiatives partnership covered by the Forecaster

The Forecaster on Jan. 29th ran a story on the new partnership between Deering High School and 海角社区's Global Initiatives Program.

As a result of the new partnership, Deering students will be able to attend lectures by international experts at 海角社区鈥檚 Portland campus.  海角社区 students who have travelled abroad will also share their experiences with Deering students.  海角社区 faculty will provide professional development for Deering鈥檚 staff on topics such as the importance of developing a global outlook. 海角社区's Associate Provost for Global Initiatives, Anouar Majid, Ph.D., was quoted in the story.
